Do you think AI is hype or real?

We remember life before the internet & now living in the world powered by AI

People born in 80s & 90s already survived

We have adapted before, we will adapt again

Contents on AI are ruling the internet.

The fear of AI  is real. And because of this people think AI will take away jobs

We are the last generation that played outside until the street light came on.

And the first generation teaching machines how to think and work on our behalf.

We grew up without wi-fi, now we are living in the world with AI everywhere

AI: Is this hype or real

The fear is real as people feel that AI will take away their jobs, automate everything & replace them

But here is the truth, we have heard this before

We all remember when the internet first entered our home, few thought and said that internet will ruin society

Also added that internet will destroy real jobs, & nothing good comes from the internet

But then what happened we all have seen and vowed it

Email replaced letters

Streaming replaced DVDs

& search engine replace encylopedia. 

Internet what was considered threat has become part of our life, day in day out

When iphone was released, people didn’t realize it would reshape the world

Entire industry shifted, and we totaly agree that some jobs disappeared but millions more were created

From app developers, to digital marketers, content creators and social media manager all grew with the phone

Careers that didn’ even didn’t exist when we were kids where everywhere with smartphones in picture

And here we also adapted, and adapted every time.

And now it’s AI. What you think, what will happen now?

AI tools that do everything- Do we need humans

Tools from companies like open AI and anthropic to co-pilot and google’s gemini do most of the task humans can do

These tools can write, most of them can write, design, analyse, automate workflows and even code

And the fear sounds the same just like the first time on the internet and smartphones.

We all feel AI will take away our jobs, everything will be automated, humans won’t be needed

Totally agree, lot of mundane and repetitive task will and should get automated so we humans can focus on what is important

We are creative creatures and we as humans should focus on creativity, use our critical thinking and also people management

From collaboration to decision making to empathy, leadership and also compassion. 

Let’s be true to ourselves, we definitely lack these skills.

So coming to our point of AI taking away our jobs, let’s dive in a little bit

Lets zoom out

PC didn’t eliminate work, it changed how work was done

The internet didn’t eliminate opportunity but it multiplied.

So AI is not the first disruption. Surely it is the fastest and just like before we will adapt. We humans are very good at it

It takes time but we surely adapt with time like this technology shift that can change the way we do jobs and business

The Mindset game in the era of AI

The way to adapt this change is all about the mindset game

If we start thinking that AI will and won’t replace us but instead empower us, will change the way we see AI today

Try to understand one thing and prepare you mind to adapt that AI will remove repetition work, speed up processes, and also give us leverage

With that said, AI still needs judgement, creativity, emotional intelligence, leadership, ethics, and decision making

So all these still needs humans

We have mastered internet, smartphones and will master AI as well

Because as humans we don’t fear evolution , we evolve with it

AI for business: Is it hype or real returns?

As for businesses are concerned, don’t think AI is a competition

Think it as a leverage

Because most business think, AI is for big tech companies and with high budget

But the fact is AI can be used as an infrastructure & not just tools or product

Use this as a leverage the way we used internet and smartphones to stay relevant

And remember everyone in business most of them that survived last 30 years adapted new tools and technology

Spreadsheets replaced paper ledgers, websites replaced brochures, social media replaced cold calling

The companies that adapted, didn’t shrink, they removed friction but it doesn’t replace vision, trust, leadership and relationship

Because strong businesses wont be the ones that avoid AI 

And they wont be the ones that blindly automate everything

For businesses AI should be used to lower operational cost, better decision making, competitive advantage, and fastest way of testing innovation 

So up skill your staff, free them from low value work, increase output without burning people and scale your business

As far as people who are doing jobs are concerned, this is a best time to grab opportunity to grow & not fear AI

We feel that those born between 1997-2000 have a different kind of advantage

This generation didn’t transition into technology but they were born into it

This generation are not afraid of new tools, AI feels like another apps for them

Because biggest advantage is that they understand algorithm, digital branding, online communities & virality

People who are into jobs and those seeking jobs, they should combine skills of AI with cloud technology, managing data in data centers with cyber security 

Learning digital fluency that is speed & learn automating workflows that connect & solve real problems 

Change is normal to this generation & that is powerful in AI world

What we think of AI

Whether AI is a hype or real, we are not sure but one thing we can confirm when it comes to AI

As AI generates more data, we will need more cloud usage and more cloud means more data centres, the cycle moves on. 

This shift will create demand not only for AI engineers, but also cloud experts, energy specialist, cybersecurity professionals , hardware technicians and sustainability leaders

So focus on cloud architecture, data engineering, semiconductor engineering

If businesses and job seekers want to bet, this is the area that will grow exponentially.

The rise of AI is not just technology shift or upgrade, it is a structural shift in the global economy

AI is becoming foundational infrastructure, like electricity or internet, 

Those who prepare early, invest wisely, build adaptable capabilities will lead next decade of growth

And finally if it is a hype or bubble, there is nothing wrong in learning new technology and upgrading your knowledge and skills.
